Meet of Champs Program 2022

56th T&FCA of GP, Inc. Meet of Champs

 

MEET BEGINS AT 10:00 AM enter at 9:00am. (Long Jump at 9:30 AM) ¼” SPIKES or Less

 

Athletes are asked to report to the Clerk of Course in the infield at least two events prior to their event. One to three calls will be given for each event. Failure to report to the Clerk of Course after the call or calls will be considered a scratch. It is the coach and athletes’ responsibility to report on time, properly clerked and in legal uniform; this includes masks worn on the face/head (T&FCA of GP Games Committee decision.).  The Clerks will close an event after the FINAL CALL and the event will be seeded. Once seeded athletes and all four members of the relay in legal uniform will return to get heat and lane assignments.

 

A PERFORMANCE LIST OF ALL RUNNING EVENTS WILL BE LINE. THE ATHLETES NEED TO REPORT TO THE CLERKS OF COURSE AND CHECK IN.  THE MEET WILL BE SEEDED AFTER FINAL CALL.

 

This meet will be governed by the rules of the National Federation unless otherwise modified by the PIAA or stated by the T&FCA of GP, Inc. Games Committee.

 

PROGRESSIONS –  RUNNING TRIALS AND FIELD EVENTS:

 

60 m. Dash & 60 m. High HurdlesWILL ADVANCE TO THE FINAL ON TIME

 

High Jump will start at 5′ 7″, move up 2” at a time to 6’3”, and then move 1″ thereafter. There will be no cumulative miss rule for the High Jump.

 

Pole Vault will start at 10′ 3″, move up 6″ at a time to 13′ 9″, move to 14’0”and then move 3″ thereafter. There will be no cumulative miss rule for the Pole Vault.

ALL INDIVIDUAL CONTESTANTS NEED TO CLERK IN WHEN THEIR EVENT IS CALLED.  ONCE AN EVENT IS CLOSED, ANY ATHELETE WHO HAS CLERKED IN AND THEN SCRATCHES, OR CLERKS IN AND DOES NOT SHOW FOR THE EVENT IS DISQUALIFIED FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE MEET.  IF A RELAY TEAM CLERKS IN AND EITHER SCRATCHES OR DOES NOT SHOW THIS PENALTY IS APPLIED TO ALL FOUR NAMES LISTED ON THE RELAY CARD.

 

ATHLETES AND/OR COACHES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REPORTING TO THE CLERKING AREA FOR EACH EVENT. CALLS WILL BE MADE FOR EACH EVENT.  NOT HEARING A CALL IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE REASON FOR NOT CLERKING IN.  PLEASE KNOW THE ORDER OF EVENTS.
