Coach’s Association Spring Invitational (formerly the Relay Meet)

 

DATE:  April 9, 2011

 

TIME:  10:00am start

 

PLACE:  Coatesville HS

 

FEES:  Each school that enters must have at least one coach who is paid

as a 2010-2011 member of our Association.

 

            FOR ALL PLAN ONE AND TWO MEMEBERS – THERE WILL BE NO ENTRY FEE IN 2011 (SHORT SCHEDULE IN THE WINTER)

            FOR ALL OTHER 2011 MEMBERS, $75.OO FULL TEAM ENTRY OR $10 PER INDIVIDUAL, $20 PER RELAY 

PAYMENT:  Make all checks and/or money orders payable to – bring it with you to the meet

T&FCAofGP,INC.

 

AWARDS:  Medals to the first five places in all events

 

PARTICIPATION:  this meet is open to association Member Schools competing in the Divisional breakdown allowed by our Rules & Regulations from the 2010-2011 Indoor Season.  Athletes may compete in the P.I.A.A. participation limitation of up to but not more than four events.

 

ELIGIBILITY:  P.I.A.A. eligibility rules will govern this meet for all

schools.  An eligibility list of all competitors used in the meet MUST be tuned into the Executive Secretary by the day of the meet.  The list must be on a standard PIAA/ T&FCAofGP, INC. form, and must be signed by your schools Principal or Athletic Director.

 

ENTRANCE:  All entries will be through http://pa.milesplit.us/. This is the same system we used during the 2010 indoor season to enter meets

Each team is allowed 2 entries per individual running event and 1 relay per team.  In the field events, you are allowed 1 athlete per event.  You may enter 2 field athletes if they both achieve the standard provided:

 

PV – 12’ 0”

HJ – 6’ 0”

LJ – 20’ 6”

TJ – 41’ 6”

SP – 47’ 0”

DIS – 130’ 0”

JAV – 150’ 0” 

(may use last spring’s marks if verifiable)

10:00am           Long Jump (1:30 hr open pit both divisions)

                   Shot Put (Div I followed by Div II)

                   Javelin (Div II followed by Div I)

                   High Jump (compete together – medal by division)

                   Pole Vault (compete together – medal by division)

 

                   Discus will follow the Jav (Div I and Div II together)

                   Triple Jump will follow the Long Jump

(1:30 hr open pit both divisions)

ALL FIELD EVENTS WILL BE 4 TRIALS PER COMPETITOR – NO FINALS

          UNLESS NOTED!
